Fairfax County, Viriginia has the 11th largest school district in the United States with 184,625 students and an annual budget of $2.5 billion.  

Fairfax County Public School system is undergoing a demographic change.  There is a significant increase in Hispanic students. 

According to the Pew Hispanic Center, Central American origin residents are the fasted growing segment of the foreign born population in the US.
